Fire Victim Needs in Kampung Melayu Fulfilled

East Jakarta Administration ensures logistic aid, medicines, clothing to clean water needs for fire victims in Kebon Pala, Kampung Melayu, Jatinegara who are displaced in refugee camps have been fulfilled.

The solution is victims use school toilets temporarily

"All is certain to be on target. It's just leaving portable restrooms placement that plagued, as the location is narrow and difficult to reach," expressed Ari Sonjaya, Assistant to East Jakarta Community Welfare, at the location, Monday (8/21).

His party has coordinated with East Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. related to placement of portable restrooms that are constrained by location.

"We'll look for further solutions to this obstacle," he told.

In the meantime, Kampung Melayu Urban Village Head, Setyawan explained, for a while, the fire victims use the toilet inside the school building, which is used as a refugee camp.

"The solution is victims use school toilets temporarily," he closed.
